Nakano, Tokyo
Ten minutes west of Shinjuku on the Chuo Line. The Sun Mall arcade runs from the north exit straight into Nakano Broadway, four floors of manga, toys and the country's densest cluster of second-hand watch dealers. Cheap izakaya alleys either side of it.
